Ai+ Pulse 1

Product Overview & Value Proposition

The Ai+ Pulse 1 enters the mobile market as a dedicated entry-level smartphone designed to balance essential modern features with cost-effective engineering. Positioned within the budget-conscious segment, this device targets students, first-time smartphone users, and individuals seeking a reliable secondary device for daily communication and media consumption. By combining a large-format display with a high-capacity battery, the Pulse 1 aims to provide a functional user experience without the premium price tag associated with flagship hardware.

At its core, the Ai+ Pulse 1 is built around the T615 Processor, a chipset designed to handle standard mobile tasks such as social media browsing, messaging, and light application usage. With a configuration of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, the device offers a baseline of performance that meets the requirements of contemporary mobile operating systems. The inclusion of expandable storage options up to 1 TB further enhances its value proposition, making it a viable option for users who prioritize large local libraries of photos, music, and documents.

The market placement of the Ai+ Pulse 1 is clearly defined by its emphasis on "essentialism." It does not attempt to compete in the high-performance gaming or professional photography arenas; instead, it focuses on delivering a smooth visual experience through its 90Hz refresh rate and long-lasting power through its 5000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. For users looking for a dependable, large-screen device for connectivity and entertainment, the Pulse 1 presents a structured and practical solution.

Core Specifications & Architecture

The technical architecture of the Ai+ Pulse 1 is centered on providing a cohesive experience through a mix of standard connectivity and efficient processing. The device is powered by the T615 Processor, which works in tandem with the Arm Mali G57 MP1 GPU to manage graphical rendering and system-level operations. This combination is optimized for the HD+ resolution screen, ensuring that the hardware can maintain stable frame rates during standard interface navigation.

Memory and Storage Configuration

The device features a memory architecture consisting of 4 GB of RAM, which serves as the primary workspace for multitasking and application management. For long-term data retention, the handset provides 64 GB of internal ROM. Recognizing the storage demands of modern media, the Pulse 1 supports significant expansion, allowing users to add external storage up to 1 TB. This makes the device highly adaptable to varying user needs, from simple text-based usage to heavy media storage.

Display and Visual Engineering

The visual centerpiece of the Ai+ Pulse 1 is its 17.13 cm (6.745 inch) HD+ Display. The panel is engineered with several technical layers to improve the viewing experience, including Full Lamination and an Incell Touch Panel. The display operates at a 90Hz refresh rate, providing smoother transitions and animations compared to standard 60Hz panels. The resolution is set at 1600 x 720 pixels, maintaining an aspect ratio of 20:9. To ensure visibility in various lighting conditions, the screen features a typical brightness of 450 Nits and a minimum brightness of 400 Nits. Additionally, the display incorporates Vertical Polarised technology and a 2D Glass surface with an Oleophobic Coating to resist fingerprints and smudges.

Connectivity and Network Standards

The Ai+ Pulse 1 is equipped with a versatile suite of connectivity options. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks, ensuring broad compatibility with global GSM and UMTS standards. For wireless data, the device utilizes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and includes Wi-Fi Hotspot capabilities. Bluetooth connectivity is handled via version 5.0, and the device includes integrated GPS support for location-based services. For physical data transfer and charging, it utilizes a Type C Micro USB port, which is also OTG compatible.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

In real-world scenarios, the Ai+ Pulse 1 is designed to provide a steady and predictable user experience. The 90Hz refresh rate is a standout feature in this category, as it significantly reduces perceived lag during scrolling through news feeds or navigating menus, making the interface feel more responsive than typical budget devices. The T615 Processor and 4 GB of RAM are well-suited for the HD+ resolution, preventing the system from being overwhelmed by the pixel density of the large 6.745-inch screen.

Camera Capabilities and Video

The imaging system is headlined by a 50MP AI Dual Camera setup on the rear. This primary module utilizes a CIF Sensor and includes Auto Focus, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), and HDR support to enhance image quality in varying light conditions. For video enthusiasts, the rear camera is capable of recording in 1080p at 30 fps. On the front, a 5MP secondary camera with Fixed Focus handles selfies and video calls, also supporting 1080p recording at 30 fps. The rear camera is supplemented by a Single Tone LED Flash, while the front camera utilizes Flash by LCD Background Lighting to assist in low-light portraiture.

Battery Life and Power Management

One of the most significant aspects of the everyday experience is the 5000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. This high capacity is intended to support the large 6.745-inch display through extended periods of use. The device also supports Quick Charging to minimize downtime, and the package includes a 10W Charger. For users who prefer wired audio, the inclusion of a 3.5mm audio jack ensures compatibility with a wide range of legacy headphones without the need for adapters.

Design, Build Quality & Efficiency

The Ai+ Pulse 1 features a modern aesthetic, presented in a Green colorway. Despite its large screen, the device maintains a manageable physical profile with a height of 167.35 mm, a width of 77.37 mm, and a depth of 8.5 mm. The total weight is 193 g, which is relatively standard for a device of this size and battery capacity, suggesting a build that is substantial without being overly cumbersome.

The build quality is enhanced by the Full Lamination of the display and the Oleophobic Coating on the 2D glass, which contributes to both the tactile feel and the long-term cleanliness of the device. The Incell Touch Panel ensures that the touch response is integrated closely with the display, contributing to a more seamless interaction between the user and the software. While the specifications do not detail the specific chassis material, the overall dimensions and weight indicate a design focused on ergonomic utility for a large-format smartphone.
