Welcome to PriceHunt (accessible at https://pricehunt.com and through the PriceHunt Android Mobile Application), operated by Excel Technologies ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, services, and price comparison features.
By accessing, browsing, or using PriceHunt, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Nature of the Service
PriceHunt is an independent consumer price comparison, product specifications directory, and shopping discovery portal. We aggregate and display live product offers, specs, expert verdicts, and deal analytics from authorized third-party e-commerce stores across India (including Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Vijay Sales, Tata CLiQ, Reliance Digital, and others).
Important Clarification: PriceHunt is not an e-commerce seller, retailer, or manufacturer. We do not sell products directly, process customer checkout payments on our own servers, or stock physical inventory. When you choose to purchase an item, you will be redirected to the corresponding merchant platform, where the sale, payment, fulfillment, and warranty obligations reside.
2. Eligibility & User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years of age (or have permission from a parent or legal guardian) and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use this service.
3. Pricing Accuracy & Merchant Redirections
- We utilize automated scanning algorithms to keep prices and product availability fresh across all major stores. However, e-commerce stores frequently alter promotional prices, lightning deals, bank discounts, or stock levels without prior notice.
- While we make reasonable efforts to maintain exact price accuracy, the final price, stock availability, shipping fees, and taxes displayed on the merchant partner's checkout page at the exact time of order placement shall be authoritative and governing.
- PriceHunt does not guarantee that any merchant offer will remain unchanged or available for any specific duration.
4. Affiliate Disclosures & Commercial Relationships
In full compliance with advertising standards and consumer protection guidelines, PriceHunt hereby discloses that we may earn affiliate commissions, referral fees, or partnership revenue when users click on merchant out-links and complete purchases on retailer platforms. This affiliate compensation comes at zero additional cost to you and does not bias our algorithmic comparison rankings or objective specifications scoring.
5. Intellectual Property & Trademarks
- All original content on PriceHunt, including our source code, site design, proprietary price history charts, logos, compilation structure, and editorial text, is the exclusive intellectual property of Excel Technologies and protected under Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.
- All third-party brand names, product logos, and merchant trademarks (such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Google, etc.) displayed on our platform are the registered trademarks of their respective owners. Their display on PriceHunt is strictly for descriptive, identification, and informational reference purposes under fair use.
6. Prohibited Activities
When using PriceHunt, you agree not to:
- Deploy automated scrapers, web spiders, or crawlers that place an unreasonable load on our server infrastructure without express written permission.
- Attempt to circumvent security protections, authentication mechanisms, or reverse engineer any feature of the site or mobile application.
- Post spam, abusive, defamatory, or deceptive content in comment sections or community review modules.
- Misrepresent your identity or falsely claim affiliation with PriceHunt or Excel Technologies.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
PriceHunt is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without representations or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, Excel Technologies disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free site operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Excel Technologies, PriceHunt, its founders, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:
- Your use of or inability to use our platform or recommendations.
- Any transaction, product defect, delivery failure, or warranty dispute between you and a third-party merchant store.
- Any inaccuracies or delays in displayed pricing or deal data.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi / Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
