Core Specifications & Architecture

At the heart of the Ai+ Nova 5G is a technical architecture designed to handle the demands of contemporary mobile applications and high-speed networking. The device is powered by the T8200 Processor, which works in tandem with the Arm Mali G57 MC2 GPU to manage graphical rendering and system-level tasks. This combination is engineered to support the high refresh rates offered by the display and the intensive data throughput required by 5G networks.

Memory and Storage Ecosystem

The device features a robust memory subsystem that facilitates efficient multitasking. The 6 GB of RAM allows for several applications to remain active in the background, reducing reload times during active use. For data retention, the 128 GB of internal ROM provides ample space for the operating system and user files. A significant highlight for power users is the expandable storage capability, which supports external memory up to 1 TB, effectively removing the limitations typically found in entry-to-mid-range devices.

Display and Visual Engineering

The Ai+ Nova 5G boasts a massive 17.13 cm (6.745 inch) HD+ Display. The screen architecture is sophisticated, featuring Full Lamination and an Incell Touch Panel for improved clarity and touch responsiveness. The display utilizes a 20:9 aspect ratio, providing a tall, cinematic field of view. Key technical metrics for the screen include:

• Resolution: 1600 x 720 Pixels (HD+)
• Refresh Rate: Supports up to 120Hz (with a 90Hz refresh rate specification noted)
• Brightness: 450 Nits (Typical) and 400 Nits (Minimum)
• Protective Features: 2D Glass with an Oleophobic Coating
• Advanced Optics: Vertical Polarised display technology

Connectivity and Network Standards

As the name suggests, 5G connectivity is a cornerstone of this device. The Ai+ Nova 5G supports a wide array of network types, including 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G. This ensures comprehensive coverage across various global network standards such as UMTS and GSM. For wireless data, the device utilizes Wi-Fi technology supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), and it includes Wi-Fi Hotspot functionality for sharing connectivity with other devices.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

In real-world usage, the Ai+ Nova 5G is built to provide a fluid interface. The inclusion of the Arm Mali G57 MC2 GPU ensures that visual transitions and UI animations remain stable. The high refresh rate capabilities of the display are central to this experience, offering smoother scrolling and more responsive interactions compared to standard 60Hz panels. Users will find the Dual Sim capability useful for managing personal and professional lines simultaneously, though it is important to note there is no hybrid SIM slot.

Camera Capabilities and Video Production

The imaging system is centered around a 50MP AI Dual Camera setup on the rear. This primary module features Auto Focus and utilizes a CIF Sensor with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and HDR (High Dynamic Range) to enhance image quality in varying lighting conditions. The rear setup is complemented by a Single Tone LED Flash to assist in low-light photography.

For video enthusiasts, the device offers impressive resolution options. Both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording in 4K at 30 fps, as well as 1080p at 30 fps. This high-resolution video capability is a standout feature for a device in this category. The front-facing camera is a 5MP (Fixed Focus) unit that utilizes Flash by LCD Background Lighting for selfies in darker environments.

Power Management and Longevity

To sustain these high-performance features, the Ai+ Nova 5G is equipped with a large 5000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. This capacity is designed to provide extended usage throughout the day, even with 5G and high-refresh-rate display settings enabled. The device supports Quick Charging via a Type C (2A) connection, ensuring that downtime for recharging is minimized. The inclusion of a 10W Charger in the box provides a reliable power source for daily replenishment.

Design, Build Quality & Efficiency

The physical design of the Ai+ Nova 5G emphasizes a slim profile and ergonomic handling. With a depth of 8.2 mm, the device maintains a sleek silhouette despite its large screen. The dimensions of 168.04 mm in height and 77.7 mm in width make it a substantial device that fits comfortably in most hands. Weighing 196 g, it offers a solid, premium feel without being overly cumbersome.

The build quality is enhanced by the Oleophobic Coating on the 2D glass, which helps resist fingerprints and smudges, maintaining the visual integrity of the screen during prolonged use. The Purple colorway adds a modern, stylish touch to the hardware. For connectivity and peripheral use, the device includes a 3.5mm audio jack, allowing for the use of traditional wired headphones, and supports OTG (On-The-Go) for connecting external peripherals like flash drives.

Efficiency is managed through the integration of the T8200 processor and the Lithium Polymer battery technology, which is known for its stability and longevity in mobile applications.
