Godrej 1 Ton 5 Star 2023 Model Split Inverter AC

Product Overview & Value Proposition

The Godrej 1 Ton 5 Star 2023 Model Split Inverter AC represents a sophisticated entry into the high-efficiency cooling market, specifically engineered for users seeking a balance between powerful performance and significant energy conservation. As a 2023 model featuring advanced i-sense Technology, this unit is designed to cater to medium-sized rooms where precise temperature control and air quality are paramount. The product is offered in two distinct aesthetic variations, identified by model numbers AC 1T EI 12TINV5R32-GWA and AC 1T EI 12TINV5R32-RWB, providing options in White and Gold color schemes to complement various interior design preferences.

The primary value proposition of this air conditioner lies in its 5 Star BEE Rating (based on the 2024 BEE rating standards). By utilizing Inverter technology, the unit is capable of delivering energy savings of up to 25% when compared to a standard Non-Inverter 1 Star model. This makes it an ideal choice for budget-conscious consumers who are wary of rising electricity costs but refuse to compromise on cooling comfort. With a cooling capacity of 3450 W, it is optimized for localized cooling in spaces that require consistent, reliable temperature management.

Targeting homeowners, small apartment dwellers, and professionals working in home offices, this Godrej split AC positions itself as a premium yet accessible cooling solution. It leverages R-32 refrigerant, a modern choice that aligns with contemporary environmental standards, and features a Copper condenser coil to ensure longevity and efficient heat exchange. Whether it is the intense heat of summer or the humid conditions of a monsoon, this unit is built to provide a stabilized, comfortable indoor climate.

Core Specifications & Architecture

At the heart of the Godrej 1 Ton Split Inverter AC is a robust technical architecture designed for both durability and efficiency. The system utilizes a Single Rotary Compressor, which is a hallmark of inverter-based systems, allowing for variable speed operation rather than the harsh on-off cycles found in traditional fixed-speed units. This architecture is critical for maintaining the ISEER rating of 5.1 W/W, ensuring that the energy consumed is utilized effectively for cooling.

The technical breakdown of the core components is as follows:

• Capacity: 1 Ton with a cooling capacity of 3450 W.
• Compressor Type: Single Rotary Inverter Compressor.
• Condenser Material: High-grade Copper for superior thermal conductivity and easier maintenance.
• Refrigerant: R-32, providing efficient cooling properties.
• Energy Efficiency: 5 Star BEE Rating (2024 standards) with an annual electricity consumption of 524.03 Units.
• Power Requirements: Operates on AC 230 V, 50 Hz.
• Ambient Temperature Threshold: Capable of operating in environments up to 52 DegreeC.

The inclusion of Blue Fin Anti Corrosive Coating is a significant architectural advantage. This coating protects the condenser and evaporator coils from environmental degradation, which is essential for maintaining the unit's efficiency over several years of operation. Furthermore, the use of Copper throughout the heat exchange process ensures that the unit remains energy efficient and provides "best in class" cooling while remaining easier to service compared to aluminum alternatives.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

Real-world performance is defined by how the unit handles varying environmental loads and user requirements. The Inverter technology allows the AC to modulate its cooling output based on the heat load of the room. This results in a smoother temperature curve, avoiding the sudden blasts of cold air followed by periods of warmth that characterize non-inverter models. With a cooling capacity of 3450 W, the unit is well-equipped to handle the thermal load of a standard 1-ton designated space.

The usability of the Godrej AC is enhanced through a variety of specialized operating modes. Users can select from Cool Mode, Dry Mode, Sleep Mode, Turbo Mode, Auto Mode, and Fan Mode. Each mode serves a specific environmental need:

• Turbo Mode: Designed for rapid cooling when the room temperature is high.
• Dry Mode: Specifically useful for dehumidification, helping to manage humidity levels during rainy seasons.
• Sleep Mode: An intelligent feature that auto-adjusts the temperature throughout the night to ensure user comfort without unnecessary energy expenditure.
• Auto Mode: Allows the machine to sense the room environment and adjust settings automatically.

Airflow management is another key aspect of the daily experience. The unit features both Horizontal and Vertical air swing, allowing for a more comprehensive distribution of cooled air throughout the room. This prevents "cold spots" and ensures that the entire living area benefits from the 1-ton capacity. Additionally, the air quality is managed through a dual-filter system consisting of a Dust Filter and an Anti-bacteria Filter, which work together to capture particulates and mitigate bacterial presence in the air stream.

For convenience, the Auto Restart feature is a vital inclusion. In the event of a power cut, the unit will automatically resume its previous settings once power is restored, eliminating the need for manual intervention and ensuring that the desired climate is maintained with minimal disruption.

Design, Build Quality & Efficiency

The physical design of the Godrej Split AC balances aesthetic appeal with functional engineering. The indoor unit is designed with a sleek profile, measuring 84.9 cm in width, 28.9 cm in height, and 21 cm in depth. Weighing only 10 kg, it is designed for easy installation and a non-intrusive presence on the wall. The availability of White and Gold color options allows the unit to blend into modern decor or act as a subtle accent piece.

The outdoor unit, which houses the compressor and condenser, is more substantial to facilitate heat dissipation. It measures 85.8 cm x 59.2 cm x 31.2 cm and has a weight of 29 kg. The build quality is reinforced by the Copper condenser coil and the Blue Fin Anti Corrosive Coating, which together provide a defense mechanism against the elements, ensuring the outdoor unit remains durable even in harsh outdoor conditions.

Efficiency is a cornerstone of this model's design. With an annual electricity consumption of 524.03 Units, the unit is optimized for long-term cost savings. The 5 Star BEE Rating is not merely a label but a reflection of the unit's ability to provide high-performance cooling while minimizing its electrical footprint. The R-32 refrigerant used in the system further supports this by offering high thermodynamic efficiency, contributing to the overall ISEER of 5.1 W/W.
