The 3 Star BEE Rating (2024) indicates a commitment to energy savings, offering up to 15% more efficiency compared to a non-inverter 1-star model. This makes it a compelling choice for budget-conscious consumers who want to mitigate rising electricity costs without sacrificing the core benefits of inverter technology.

The target audience for this Godrej model includes urban dwellers, students, or professionals living in compact apartments who require a dependable cooling solution that can handle high ambient temperatures. With its clean white aesthetic and split design, it integrates seamlessly into various interior decors while providing the heavy-duty cooling performance expected from a reputable brand like Godrej.

Core Specifications & Architecture

At the heart of the SIC 12TTC3-GWK is a sophisticated technical architecture designed for longevity and thermal efficiency. The unit utilizes a Variable Speed Compressor, which is the hallmark of inverter technology. Unlike standard compressors that cycle on and off, this variable speed system adjusts its output to maintain the desired temperature, leading to smoother operation and reduced wear and tear.

The technical breakdown of the system includes several critical components:

• Cooling Capacity: 3300 W, providing robust thermal exchange for its 1-ton classification.
• Refrigerant: R-32, a modern refrigerant choice that contributes to the unit's efficiency and environmental profile.
• Condenser Coil: High-quality Copper construction, which is widely recognized for superior heat transfer capabilities and easier maintenance compared to aluminum alternatives.
• Condenser Fin Type: Equipped with Blue Fin technology to enhance heat dissipation and protect the unit from corrosion.
• ISEER Rating: 3.9 W/W, providing a standardized metric for its seasonal energy efficiency.
• Power Requirements: Operates on a standard AC 230 V, 50 Hz power supply.

The architecture is further reinforced by its ability to operate in demanding environments, with a specified ambient temperature capability of up to 52 DegreeC. This ensures that even during peak summer heat, the unit can continue to deliver effective cooling without a significant drop in performance.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

Real-world performance is defined by how the unit manages temperature fluctuations and air quality. The Godrej 1 Ton 3 Star Inverter AC is designed to provide a steady stream of conditioned air through its optimized airflow system. A key feature for maintaining a healthy indoor environment is the inclusion of both an anti-bacteria filter and a dust filter. These filtration layers work in tandem to capture airborne particulates and microbial contaminants, ensuring that the air circulated throughout the room is cleaner and safer for occupants.

In terms of daily usability, the unit addresses common modern inconveniences through its Auto Restart functionality. In the event of a power outage, the system is designed to automatically resume its previous settings once power is restored, eliminating the need for manual intervention or the frustration of resetting the device every time the electricity fluctuates.

The dehumidification feature is another significant performance asset. By effectively managing moisture levels in the air, the AC helps prevent the "sticky" feeling often associated with high humidity, thereby enhancing the overall thermal comfort of the space. While this model does not feature Wi-Fi connectivity, it remains highly functional through its included remote control, allowing for precise manual adjustments to temperature and mode settings.

The annual electricity consumption is rated at 654.68 Units, a metric that allows users to forecast their operational costs with reasonable accuracy based on their usage patterns. This predictable energy profile, combined with the 3-star rating, makes it a stable choice for long-term residential use.

Design, Build Quality & Efficiency

The physical design of the Godrej SIC 12TTC3-GWK emphasizes both functionality and spatial efficiency. The indoor unit is designed with a slim profile, measuring 80 cm in width, 29.2 cm in height, and 22.2 cm in depth. Weighing only 9.3 kg, the indoor unit is relatively lightweight, which facilitates easier installation and less structural stress on the mounting surface.

The outdoor unit, which houses the heavy-duty compressor and condenser, is more substantial, weighing 23.7 kg. Its dimensions are 78.1 cm (W) x 55.7 cm (H) x 24.1 cm (D). The use of a Copper condenser coil is a major indicator of build quality, as copper offers better durability and thermal conductivity, which is essential for the long-term efficiency of the cooling cycle.

Efficiency is further bolstered by the Blue Fin condenser fins. This coating provides an extra layer of protection against the elements, helping to prevent the degradation of the condenser coils due to moisture or environmental pollutants. The combination of the R-32 refrigerant and the variable speed compressor ensures that the unit operates with a high degree of energy intelligence, minimizing wasted power during periods when the room is near the target temperature.
