It stands as a robust solution for users who demand 4K clarity and a smart interface that understands their viewing preferences.

Core Specifications & Architecture

At the heart of the Onida 65UIG is a sophisticated hardware and software architecture designed to handle the intensive demands of 4K content. The display is a VA-type LED panel, which is specifically chosen to provide deep contrast and high brightness levels, essential for a premium viewing experience.

Visual Architecture

The television boasts a native 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, ensuring that every frame is rendered with extreme detail. To manage this high density of pixels, the TV utilizes the Pix Visual Engine, a specialized processing unit designed to optimize image quality. The display supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision, allowing for a wider dynamic range and more accurate color reproduction. The 60 Hz refresh rate and a 6.5 millisecond response time provide a smooth visual flow, minimizing motion blur during fast-paced scenes.

Processing and Memory

To ensure the Google TV interface remains responsive, the device is equipped with 2 GB of RAM and a 16 GB internal memory storage capacity. This hardware configuration allows for the installation and smooth operation of various applications from the Google Play Store. The integration of the Google operating system provides the intelligence required for features like Watchlist, Google Cast built-in, and personalized recommendations.

Audio Engineering

The audio architecture is built around a 24-watt output system. It features a HiFi Speaker Box Pro design and supports advanced audio formats including Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio. This setup is designed to create a more spatial and immersive soundstage, complementing the visual scale of the 65-inch screen. The system includes an equalizer to allow users to fine-tune the audio output to their specific environment or content type.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

In real-world scenarios, the Onida 65UIG is designed to transition seamlessly between different modes of entertainment, from high-octane gaming to relaxed streaming. The Google TV interface acts as a centralized command center, aggregating content from various platforms such as Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, and Zee5 into a single, easy-to-navigate layout.

Smart Interaction and Control

Usability is significantly enhanced by the inclusion of a remote control that utilizes both IR and Bluetooth technology. The integration of Google Assistant allows for intuitive voice search and control, reducing the friction of navigating through complex menus. Users can search for specific titles, control smart home devices, or manage playback using simple voice commands, making the TV accessible to all age groups within a household.

Gaming and Connectivity Performance

For gamers, the 65UIG offers dedicated compatibility with gaming consoles. The combination of 4K resolution and the Pix Visual Engine ensures that gameplay looks sharp and vibrant. Connectivity is handled through a versatile array of ports, including 3 HDMI ports—ideal for connecting a set-top box, a Blu-ray player, and a gaming console simultaneously—and 1 USB port for external hard drives or other media devices. The inclusion of Wi-Fi and Ethernet ensures stable internet connectivity for high-bitrate 4K streaming.

Viewing Experience and Eye Care

A standout feature for everyday use is the Eye Protect Plus technology, which works alongside the Pix Visual Engine to mitigate eye strain during extended viewing. Furthermore, the 178-degree wide viewing angle ensures that the picture remains consistent and clear even when viewed from the side, making it an excellent choice for wide seating arrangements in large living rooms.

Design, Build Quality & Efficiency

The Onida 65UIG is designed with a modern aesthetic that fits well in contemporary interior decors. The Black finish provides a sleek, unobtrusive look that allows the screen to be the focal point of the room. The physical dimensions of the unit are 7.95 x 145 x 82.7 cm, and it carries a substantial weight of 18 kg, suggesting a sturdy build quality.

Mounting and Physicality

Versatility in installation is a key design consideration. The device supports both wall mount and table mount configurations, allowing users to choose the setup that best fits their space and viewing height. The 165 cm (65 inch) screen size provides a massive canvas for media, while the VA panel technology ensures a high 5000:1 contrast ratio, contributing to deep blacks and bright highlights.

Power and Efficiency

The television operates on a standard AC power source with a voltage requirement of 140 volts. The total wattage is rated at 24 watts, which aligns with the audio output specifications, indicating an integrated power management system that balances performance with energy consumption. The build is designed for durability, backed by the manufacturing expertise of Mirc Electronics Ltd.
