The display is a 50-inch (127 cm) VA-type QLED panel, further enhanced by Mini-LED technology. This combination is critical for achieving the high brightness and the impressive 100,000:1 contrast ratio specified by the manufacturer. The resolution stands at 3840 x 2160 pixels, ensuring that every frame is rendered with extreme clarity.

The internal processing capabilities are driven by a Mali-G52MP2 dual-core graphics coprocessor, which works in tandem with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory storage. This hardware configuration is optimized to run the Google operating system smoothly, allowing for quick navigation through menus and rapid app loading. The display operates at a 60 Hz refresh rate with a 7 millisecond response time, providing a stable and responsive visual output for standard high-definition playback.

The power architecture is designed for standard AC input with a voltage requirement of 140 volts and a total wattage of 50 watts. The energy efficiency is rated at 2 Star, with an annual energy consumption of 184.18 kWh.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

Real-world performance of the Onida MZ50MIN is defined by its ability to process complex video formats and provide an interactive user interface. The inclusion of MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology is a standout feature, helping to smooth out motion during fast-paced scenes, which is essential for sports and action sequences. Visual depth is further enhanced by support for HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), ensuring that high dynamic range content is displayed with appropriate luminance and color accuracy.

The user experience is heavily centered around the Google TV platform. This provides users with a centralized "Watchlist" feature and seamless integration with Google Assistant. The included remote control utilizes both IR and Bluetooth technologies, supporting voice commands to make searching for content effortless. This voice-enabled interface significantly reduces the friction of navigating through deep menus or typing long titles.

For streaming enthusiasts, the device offers native support for a vast array of popular applications, including:

• Netflix
• YouTube
• Prime Video
• Disney+ Hotstar
• SonyLiv
• JioCinema
• Zee5

The integration of Chromecast allows for easy casting of content from mobile devices directly to the 50-inch screen, making it a highly usable device for family gatherings or social viewing. The 178-degree viewing angle ensures that the picture quality remains consistent even when viewed from the sides, which is a vital metric for shared viewing environments.

Audio Performance

The auditory experience is designed to complement the high-end visuals. The TV features a 20-watt speaker system (comprising two 10W speakers) that supports Surround Sound. Most notably, the inclusion of Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision technologies ensures that the audio-visual synergy meets modern cinematic standards. Users can customize their listening experience through an audio equalizer and multiple sound modes, including User, Standard, Vivid, Sport, Movie, Music, and News modes.

The product dimensions are listed at 8 x 111.1 x 64.3 cm, with a total weight of 12 kg 300 g. This makes the unit substantial enough to feel sturdy while remaining manageable for installation. The design supports two primary mounting configurations: table mount (using the included 2 number stands) or wall mount (utilizing the provided wall mount kit).

The build quality is reflected in the comprehensive mounting hardware package included in the box. This includes 4 stand screws, a power cord, a mini EV cable, and a user manual. The remote control is also included, powered by 2 AAA alkaline batteries which are provided in the package. The design adheres to a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is the industry standard for high-definition content, ensuring no letterboxing for most modern media.

In terms of efficiency, the device is rated with a 2 Star energy rating. While it is designed for high brightness and high-performance output, the annual consumption of 184.18 kWh provides a clear metric for users to calculate their long-term energy costs.
