This hardware configuration is optimized to run the webOS 22 operating system, allowing for efficient multitasking and quick access to various applications. The visual performance is further enhanced by a 60 Hz refresh rate and a contrast ratio of 1100:1, providing a solid foundation for deep blacks and bright highlights.

Technical highlights of the architecture include:

• Display Technology: LED with 4K upscaling capabilities.
• Resolution: 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K Ultra HD).
• Processing: LG graphics processor with AI brightness control.
• Memory: 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage.
• Viewing Angle: Wide 178-degree viewing angle for consistent color and brightness.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

In real-world usage, the LG 65UQ7500PSF is designed to adapt to the environment and the content being viewed. One of its standout performance features is the AI brightness control, which adjusts the screen's luminosity based on ambient lighting conditions, ensuring optimal visibility whether the room is brightly lit or dimmed for a movie night. This is complemented by 4K upscaling, a critical feature that enhances the quality of non-4K content, bringing it closer to the ultra-high-definition standard.

The user experience is heavily dictated by the webOS 22 platform. This operating system offers a streamlined way to navigate through unlimited OTT apps, and the inclusion of user profiles allows different members of a household to have personalized content recommendations and settings. The remote control is specifically designed for ease of use, featuring dedicated hot keys for Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar, which significantly reduces the time spent navigating menus to find content.

For audio enthusiasts, the TV employs AI Sound technology, which utilizes a virtual surround 5.1 up-mix to create a more immersive soundstage from its 2.0 ch speaker configuration. While the native audio output is 20 watts in a stereo mode, the system is Bluetooth surround ready, allowing users to expand their audio setup with compatible wireless speakers or soundbars. The device also supports an extensive list of audio formats, including MP3, AAC, AC3 (Dolby Digital), DTS, and more, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of digital media files.

Gaming performance is also a key consideration. The TV includes a Game Optimizer mode, along with ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and HGiG mode, which are designed to reduce input lag and optimize visual settings for gaming consoles. This makes the 65UQ7500PSF a capable choice for interactive entertainment, providing a responsive and visually optimized environment for players.

Design, Build Quality & Efficiency

The LG 65UQ7500PSF features a sophisticated Ceramic Black aesthetic, which allows it to blend seamlessly into various interior design styles. The physical build is designed for versatility in placement, supporting both table mount and wall mount configurations. With a weight of approximately 21.3 kg to 21 kg 300 g, the unit is substantial yet manageable for standard mounting hardware.

The dimensions of the device are 25.5 x 146.3 x 35.82 cm, making it a significant presence in any room. The build quality is consistent with LG's standards, focusing on a slim profile that minimizes the footprint when wall-mounted. The screen itself is designed with a 178-degree viewing angle, ensuring that the image remains clear and color-accurate even when viewed from the sides, which is essential for large-format TVs in social settings.

In terms of efficiency and power, the device operates on a standard AC power source. The inclusion of HDR 10 Pro and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) support ensures that the LED backlight is used efficiently to deliver high dynamic range content, maximizing the impact of the brightness and contrast without unnecessary power waste. The Filmmaker Mode further enhances this by adjusting settings to match the director's original intent, often resulting in a more natural and efficient use of the display's capabilities.
