Core Specifications & Architecture

At the heart of the Asus ExpertBook P3 is a formidable computational architecture designed to manage complex multitasking and AI-enhanced tasks. The device is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, a high-performance chip featuring 16 cores and a 24 MB cache. With clock speeds reaching up to 5.1 GHz, this processor provides the necessary headroom for intensive applications, data processing, and seamless multitasking across various software environments.

Memory and storage configurations are optimized for modern efficiency. The system is equipped with 16 GB of RAM, ensuring smooth operation when running multiple high-demand applications simultaneously. For data storage, the laptop utilizes a 512 GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD via the M.2 2280 interface, offering rapid boot times and high-speed data access essential for professional productivity.

The graphical processing is handled by integrated Intel Graphics, providing reliable visual performance for standard professional tasks and media consumption. Connectivity and expansion are handled through a comprehensive array of high-speed ports, including:

• 1x Thunderbolt 4 for ultra-fast data transfer and high-resolution external display support.
• 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C supporting both display and power delivery.
• 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A supporting display and power delivery.
• 1x HDMI 2.1 for high-definition external video output.
• 1x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet for stable, wired networking.

Wireless connectivity is managed through Bluetooth v5.4, ensuring compatibility with the latest low-energy and high-bandwidth wireless peripherals.

Performance, Usability & Everyday Experience

The real-world utility of the Asus ExpertBook P3 is defined by its ability to maintain high performance during sustained workloads. The combination of the 16-core Intel Core Ultra 7 and 16 GB of RAM makes it particularly well-suited for processing and multitasking. Users can expect a fluid experience when transitioning between heavy spreadsheets, web browsers with numerous tabs, and communication tools.

Visual interaction is centered around a large 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display. The 16:10 aspect ratio provides more vertical screen real estate compared to traditional 16:9 displays, which is a significant advantage for reading documents, coding, or managing timelines. The 300 nits of brightness and anti-glare coating ensure that the screen remains legible in various lighting conditions, while the 160/160 view angle maintains color consistency even when viewed from the side. The 90% screen-to-body ratio contributes to an immersive viewing experience by minimizing distracting borders.

For communication, the laptop features a 1080p FHD web camera equipped with an IR function to support Windows Hello facial recognition for secure, frictionless logins. To ensure privacy, a physical privacy shutter is included, allowing users to manually block the camera when not in use. Audio performance is enhanced by built-in array microphones and Audio by Dirac, which aims to provide a more refined and balanced sound profile through the built-in speakers.

Input efficiency is bolstered by a Backlit Chiclet Keyboard, facilitating comfortable typing in low-light environments. Additionally, a fingerprint sensor provides a secondary, rapid method for system access, adding another layer of biometric security to the user experience.
