About the AUTHOR

On the staff of the Times of India (TOI) for the last twenty-one years, Kingshuk Nag is a passionate follower of India’s political economy. A recipient of the prestigious Prem Bhatia Award for excellence in political reporting and analysis, Nag has lived and worked in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad, and is now based in Hyderabad as the resident editor of TOI. An alumnus of the Delhi School of Economics, Nag became a journalist after working as an economic consultant for a few years.
