Apple iPhone 5S To Be Launched on September 10

The first iPhone 5S rumor arrived almost a year ago, and since then iPhone 5S rumors, leaks and experts descriptions have converged to paint a picture of a new iPhone that may look similar to the iPhone 5, but with lot of new features and upgrades so that Apple is able to convince users to switch from Android.

Apple's iPhone launch is the most awaited event of the year. All Things D has already reported that Apple will host an event on September 10 to unveil the iPhone 5S and considering their track record we are inclined towards believing it.

According to the leaked specs, the Apple iPhone 5S will incorporate a quad-core processor, an NFC reader, a Fingerprint Reader, new 12-13 MP backside camera with dual LED flash and a high-powered battery. It is rumored that the maps of iPhone 5S may have a night mode to support Ambient light sensor. This device will run on the new iOS 7 platform , recently launched by Apple.

Fingerprint Scanner
Ever since Apple purchased biometric security firm AutheTec, it is been rumoured that the next iPhone will have a finger print scanner. While Apple has a patent for an iPhone with a fingerprint sensor in the display, the latest rumors suggest Apple is planning to use the same Sapphire material used to keep the camera clear of scratches.This feature should allow users to unlock the iPhone by placing a finger on the home button, offering a simpler way to lock and unlock the iPhone.

Screen Display
The iPhone 5 has a pretty small screen as compared with its competitors, so it is rumoured that iPhone 5S will launch in a 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch model, or a 4.8-inch version so that it can give healthy competition to its peer competitors. The pixel density of iPhone 5S is said to be double the iPhone 5's pixel density, which if true, will give iPhone 5S an amazing display.

Size & Design
The iPhone 5S size and design will likely look and feel very familiar to iphone 5, which can be guessed by seeing its leaked pictures.Hence, it is rumoured that iPhone 5S will reportedly look a lot like the current iPhone.

Camera
One of the major upgrades Apple is expected to do in the iPhone 5S is the camera. Some sources say it will come with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a dual-LED flash, similar to the one found in the Samsung Galaxy S4 or Sony Xperia Z, to potentially improve indoor image quality. The new sensor will reportedly deliver better overall low-light performance. Multiple leaks show a new dual-LED flash is an added feature to give more natural look for photos.

Improved Battery Life
iPhone 5S would come with improved battery life, thanks to an improved Apple A7 processor that could deliver more efficient power usage. This is quite similar to how Apple boosted the MacBook Air battery life. So we now expect a larger battery as this would be needed considering iOS 7 now packs full multitasking.

More Colors
While the design of the phone is expected to remain the same there is talk about more color options, in particular a gold model. That would surely appeal Apple iphone buyers of all ages.

iOS 7 software
