Both Amazon and Flipkart are back with their Independence Day Sales starting 8 August. Amazon is back with its Amazon Freedom Sale from 8 to 11 August and will be offering 4 days of unmatchable offers and discounts to the users.
The festival season is here and Flipkart is back with its fifth edition of “Big Billion Days” from 10th - 14th October with a tagline “India Hoga Budget Se Mukt”. This biggest Flipkart sale of the year will run for five days. There will be great discounts on all product categories including Mobile phones, Fashion, TV, Laptops, Appliances and more.

Flipkart is holding a three days sale (Aug 10-12) whereas Amazon will have the sale for four days (Aug 9-12).
Flipkart's sub-brand Billion has debut its first smartphone Capture+ in highly competitive budget smartphone market to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Lenovo and Motorola such as the Redmi Note 4 and Moto G5S Plus.
