Display and Design
LG Nexus 5X is sturdy, slimmer, light in weight but has plastic look. OnePlus 2 has premium looks with metal frame and sandstone finish back as compared to Nexus 5X . Both smartphones have fingerprint scanners which are fast, accurate and quite helpful. In Nexus 5X, fingerprint scanner is at the back whereas in OnePlus 2, the home button on the front serves dual purpose as fingerprint sensor as well. Nexus 5X has smaller screen but offers better picture quality as it has higher pixel density (424ppi) than OnePlus 2.

OnePlus 2 provides better battery life with larger 3300mAh non-removable battery than smaller 2700mAh non-removable battery available in Nexus 5X. LG Nexus 5X is also NFC compatible.
