OnePlus One launched in India by OnePlus for Rs. 21,999

OnePlus, the Chinese manufacturer has finally launched its much awaited and much-talked about smartphone OnePlus One in India at Rs 21,999. It is been referred as FLAGSHIP KILLER of 2014.
This smartphone will be exclusively available for purchase on Amazon.in with a price of INR 21,999 for 64 GB version starting from December 2, 2014 onwards.
Amazon India is offering users a chance to win the invite to buy this handset on the OnePlus One specifc page. The device can be bought in India only by those users who will receive India-specific invites through OnePlus and Amazon.in.

OnePlus One sports following top-of-the-line hardware specifications:

  • The device comes with 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3GB RAM.
  • The handset supports a 5.5-inch full HD display that offers a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
  • It supports 13MP camera with F2.0 aperture and Sony image sensor and 5MP front camera.
  • It has great battery life with 3100mAh battery, 4G-support and and NFC.
  • It runs on CyanogenMod 11S, a custom aftermarket version of Android developed by Cyanogen.

The company earlier announced that it has been developing its own version of Android and a build of the OS based on Lollipop (the latest version of Android),for the Indian users and assure them it will be releasing its own iteration of operating system by February 2015. The company has tied-up with HCL Care to offer after-sales service in 20 cities across India.
