Apple will be launching its latest flagship smartphone APPLE IPHONE 6 , to compete with its Android rivals with a bigger screen, faster processor, more advanced display technology, second generation 64-bit processor and motion coprocessor, better cameras and a new transaction system called Apple Pay.
Apple iPhone 6 will be having 4.7” inch screen whereas it will be launching iPhone 6 Plus by the end of 2014, which features a larger 5.5” display.

The specifications of iPhone 6 are as follows:

  1. iPhone 6 runs on iOS 8 operating system, which is upgradable to iOS 8.0.2 operating system.
  2. The device features 4.7” display with a resolution of 1334 x 750. The pixel density is 326 ppi, which is the same as that of iPhone 5s.
  3. It supports dual-core 1.4 GHz Cyclone (ARM v8-based) M8 motion coprocessor with 64-bit architecture for even better performance than its predecessors. It also comes with 1GB RAM.
  4. The phone has an 8 MP primary camera (having pixel density of 3264 x 2448 pixels) with phase detection autofocus , geo-tagging and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. It also has a 1.2MP front camera with face detection, HDR, FaceTime over Wi-Fi , which is useful for video calling, video conferencing .The camera gives some decent shots, with low light photography also.
  5. It is light in weight (129 gm) and slim having dimensions 138.1 x 67 x 6.9 mm.
  6. The phone comes with non-removable Li-Polymer 1810 mAh battery . The phone provides the back up for 8-9 hours on medium usage. It can even last longer on light usage. It provides various connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot and built-in NFC functionality that will work seamlessly with Apple's new payment system, Apple Pay.
  7. The device has oleophobic coating and also has shatter proof glass for rough and tough feel.
  8. iPhone 6 comes in three colour options -Space Gray, Silver, Gold colour.
  9. The device has all-metal back with curved edges front and back rather than the flat edges as in iphone 5s. Hence it is very handy and convenient to hold.

    Against: Apple iPhone 6 is little pricey and has low screen resolution.
