Gradually, Chinese company Xiaomi is becoming the one-stop destination for all tech requirements. Xiaomi ventured into the television business in the early 2018 and has recently launched two new 4K smart TV models in its Pro series - Mi LED TV 4X PRO (55-inch), Mi LED TV 4A PRO (43-inch) and Mi Soundbar in India. Both of them come with PatchWall OS and Android TV support. PatchWall is an operating system specially created by Xiaomi for the MI Smart Tvs operating on Android 8.1 Oreo with Android TV. Apart from Chromecast support which ensures the consumer to stream your favorite entertainment to your HDTV, PatchWall has partnered with 14 various channels including Hotstar, Hungama, Sony Liv, Voot, Eros Now, Zee5, Hooq, Epic ON and more.
Mi LED TV 4X Pro (55)
This Mi LED TV Pro series model comes with a large 55-inch (138.8cm) 4K Ulta HD (4,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution) display with the panel featuring 10-bit color depth with accurate colour reproduction, uniform colours resulting in an immersive viewing experience. It is slim with narrow bezels and 4.9 mm thickness and sports a well built and sturdy body with an attractive metallic grey finish. Though it comes with a plastic back, it impresses the consumers with its premium looks. Another highlight of the Mi TV 4X Pro is its software including Patchwall OS and its intuitive Bluetooth remote which features an inbuilt microphone hence ensuring easy control coupled with AI-based voice recognition support. Mi LED TV 4A Pro (43)
This lower variant comes with a 43-inch (108cm) full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. In terms of looks and design, Mi TV 4A Pro and Mi TV 4A looks similar but they differ in hardware specifications. This TV is powered by a 64-bit Amlogic quad-core chipset and a new 7th-gen imaging engine ensuring enhanced picture quality and processing time. The Pro version of this 43-inch Mi TV has Patchwall UI along with Android TV interface, Bluetooth 4.2 and voice search powered by Google. It features a Full HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution panel, 20W stereo speakers, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and multiple selection of ports including three HDMI ports, two USB ports, AV ports, Antenna, Audio out, WIFi, headphone jack and an ethernet port. It is priced at rs 22,999 in India. Overall, this TV is a great buy in sub 25K price range.
Mi Soundbar
For high-quality sound requirement, Mi soundbar is a perfect choice. The device is equipped with eight drivers including two 20mm dome tweeters for the highs, two 2.5-inch woofers for the mids and four passive radiators for an amazing sound experience and enhanced bass. The connectivity options supported are Line-In, a 3.5mm AUX, Optical port, Bluetooth 4.2 and S/PDIF which makes it compatible with any TV starting from CRT to LED model. It can be paired with any other Bluetooth-enabled smart device. It is quite easy to use and can be setup in approx. 30 seconds (as claimed by Xiaomi). Its impressive design goes pretty well with every home decor. It is priced at Rs 4999 in India.

The Mi LED TV 4A PRO 43-inch is available at an affordable price of Rs 22,999. The 4X PRO 55 will be priced at Rs 39,999. Xiaomi has priced the Mi Soundbar at Rs 4,999. As for availability, both the Mi TVs will be available for first-time purchase on January 15th at 12pm on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores. The Mi Soundbar will be available via Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting from January 16th at 12pm.
